  • A performance by the Virginia Opera at the Sherwood Center
  • The 2012 Video Fairfax Awards hosted by the Arts Council of Fairfax County at the Sherwood Center
  • A premiere performance of Disney’s “Winnie the Pooh” by Acting for Young People at the Sherwood Center
  • “Forever Young” Art Exhibit at Adam Lister Gallery
  • “Spring Awakening,” a performance by the NOVA Annandale Symphony Orchestra at NOVA’s Annandale Campus
  • “SWING! SWING! SWING!,” a Sherwood Center performance featuring swing music by the Woodson High School Jazz Band, as well as Tom and Debra of Gottaswing
  • A Spring Arts Festival at Truro Church
  • The  City of Fairfax Commission on the Arts John Mason Arts Achievement Award, Reception & Recital, held at the Sherwood Center
  • An FX Players (Fairfax High School) production of “Sweeney Todd,” a Woodson Players (Woodson High School) production of “Alice in Wonderland” and a PVI Players (Paul VI High School) production of “Hello, Dolly!”
  • “Wild Side Art Show” (The 2012 Earth Exhibit of Student Artwork) at City Hall, a display sponsored by the City of Fairfax Environmental Sustainability Committee and Twins Ace Hardware
  • Keyboard Conversations with Jeffrey Siegel and a performance by the American Pops Orchestra with Anthony Maiello, both at Mason’s Center for the Arts
  • “Dancing Down Broadway” a concert by the City of Fairfax Band at WT Woodson High School
  • “Tea with Celtic Baroque” with the Síor-Óg Celtic music ensemble at Historic Blenheim Civil War Interpretive Center
  • The 6th Annual Bluegrass Festival at Auld Shebeen
  • The 5th Annual Spring Lace Day presented by the Chesapeake Region Lace Guild at Old Town Hall
  • A “Country Hoe Down Dance” with The Country Steppers at Old Town Hall
